It might seem like a silly question, but do you really know your dental laboratory? Or on the other hand, how well do you know the doctors that you are working with? Dentists and their laboratories depend on each other to make sure they reach the best outcome for their patients, so it is very important to take the time to get to know who it is you are working with.

As a lab, we feel very fortunate to work with many doctors who are located close enough to us to get to know them and keep the lines of communication open.  We do work with many doctors out of state as well, and we make sure we keep in contact with those offices via phone and email. 

Last week we were privileged with a visit from a doctor we work with out in Albany, New York.  Dr. Rosenstein flew in to Minnesota on a Thursday evening, and spent Friday visiting us in the lab.  He was able to meet the technicians he has been working with and talking to; see the lab and work environment his cases are being completed in; and discuss treatment plans and procedures with the technicians and Dr. Benson.   It was a very informative and enlightening day for both us, and Dr. Rosenstein, and we appreciate the time he took to come out and visit us!

We feel very fortunate to be able to develop relationships with our doctors, and to work with doctors who are so dedicated to their work that they take the time to get to know us. If you currently are working with us, and are interested in coming in to visit, our doors are always open! The more communication that is available between a doctor and their lab, the better the outcome will be for the patient. Patient results are the ultimate goal, so take the time to really get to know the people you are working with. You will be able to learn from,  teach one another, and get even better results for you and your patient.
